Aleksandr and Yulia from Minsk
Aliyah for us means a return to the land of our ancestors, a chance to connect with the history of our people.
We wanted our children – Arina and Valeria – to grow up not with anxiety, but with confidence in the future—in a country where they could receive an excellent education, integrate into society, and be happy. But a wall of paper blocked our path. Documents, certificates, and testimonials—everything that connected us to the past was lost to time and upheaval. We struggled for months, and despair was creeping in. It seemed impossible to obtain a visa, but we didn’t give up, and now that it’s behind us, we are boldly pursuing our dream.
We carry with us suitcases, a little fear, and a sea of hope. We want to learn the language as quickly as possible, establish a life there, find good jobs, and be fully integrated into society! We are leaving behind relatives and memories here. It’s hard to sever our roots from our country, since we are no longer citizens of Belarus.
Ezra helped us, including transport to the airport on departure day. Thank you so much for your support! We wish you and everyone involved in this great endeavour prosperity!
