The Prophetic Return of the Jewish People
It is difficult to grasp that in our modern world, many Jewish families still live without the basic necessities most of us take for granted. In remote regions and difficult circumstances, they continue to face poverty, discrimination, and growing antisemitism simply because of their heritage.
Even decades after the fall of communism, countless Jewish people in the former Soviet Union, Central Asia, and parts of Latin America remain trapped behind a different kind of wall — the wall of poverty. They lack the resources to gather the documents, obtain passports, travel to consulates, or cover the costs required to make aliyah — the return to their biblical homeland.
Israel Matters to God
This is not a human project. It is God’s.
Throughout Scripture, the Lord promised more than 300 times that He would restore the Jewish people to the land He gave them. He also specifically called the nations — the Gentiles — to help make it happen.
Isaiah 49:22 declares:
Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations, and raise my signal to the peoples; and they shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.
The restoration of Israel is God’s idea. Ezra International is simply one instrument He is using to fulfill the ancient promises in our generation.
What God Is Doing Through Ezra
Since 1995, supporters of Ezra International have helped more than 125,000 Jewish people from dozens of countries return home to Israel. These are often the poorest of the poor — families who would otherwise remain behind because they simply cannot afford the process.
Today, indigenous Ezra teams work in 14 countries across three continents. They walk with Jewish families every step of the way: researching ancestry records (sometimes across multiple countries), securing documents, covering passport and visa costs, providing transportation to consulates and airports, and offering practical and emotional support until they board the plane for Israel.
