So I decided to stop and, during the pandemic, we started producing meals for delivery, which we were very successful with. But of course, at the end of the pandemic we realized that the country was entering a recession and here in Rio de Janeiro the bubble of good times broke, and we were no longer able to maintain our expenses, even cutting everything that was possible. Even property sales were not enough to prevent our financial default.”

As we were considered children of Israelis, the demands made by the Jewish Agency and the Israeli Consulate were high.”
