Artem and Olga R from Irkutsk

My grandmother Nadezhda, lived in Siberia a long time ago. She moved several times. For some time, she lived and worked in the city of Tulun, where she ended up working. Our family originated from her.

I dream of returning to the homeland of our ancestors. My father is buried in Israel. I plan to make my dream come true. To live with my family in the Holy Land.  Once there we plan to study Hebrew. Travel to different cities to get to know the country. We will work and live. Our daughter, Polina who is traveling with us, will study.

We met Ezra through friends- Ezra had helped them when they were making Aliyah.  They recommended Ezra to us. We contacted Ezra and they helped us in the process of collecting documents for a trip to the consul in Moscow, then in the journey to Moscow for visas and for apostilles on documents. They gave us a calendar with Jewish holidays and gave us many valuable recommendations. They introduced us to an Israeli who answered our questions. They offered transport with luggage to the airport. They helped to resolve the issue that arose at the airport when boarding the flight.

Thank you very much for all the help provided to our family! We are very grateful to Ezra!

It was a great revelation for me that there are Christians who love Israel and help Jews.

Our communication helped me to rethink the depth of God’s plan in the relationship between Jews and Christians. After our meeting at the Foundation, I began to go to the synagogue to study the Torah and now I understand the purpose of my people even more.
