Stanislav and Evheniya B from Kyiv

We are tired of living in the conditions of war in Ukraine, full of insecurity and uncertainty. Our children live in Israel. We are going to be with them. We need to calm down emotionally and get qualified medical care.

Our children repatriated to Israel before the war. Most of our relatives have also been living there for a long time. My wife and I did not want to leave Ukraine. We liked living here. Even when a full-scale war began, we did not leave Kyiv. We wanted to endure until the end, going through all the difficulties and hardships of war. But our strength was not enough! All these hardships of war turned out to be too much for us!  Recently, we have become very ill. Old chronic diseases have worsened. Living here is now simply unbearable for us! Therefore, we decided to go to our relatives and children.

We went to the consul’s appointment with full confidence that we would get visas and leave for Israel immediately. For this reason, we made apostilled police clearance certificates and went to the Embassy. These certificates have an expiration date of only six months. We were convinced that we would be able to repatriate immediately, because the children left using our documents and there were no questions about them. But, to our surprise, the consul demanded additional documents that we needed to find. We left the Embassy disappointed, but there they advised us to seek help from Ezra. For some time, we did not dare to call there, and tried to find everything ourselves, but nothing worked, and we only wasted time. And then, finally, we took the plunge and called Ezra! They listened to us attentively and said that they would help with this. Then we had hope!

Indeed, Ezra’s team found everything the consul demanded of us. After that, we successfully passed the second consular check, received visas and were already registered for a flight to Israel. But the unexpected happened – the war between Israel and Iran began and all flights to Israel were cancelled. We were so scared because there was a danger of a protracted war. Our expectations of a quiet life in Israel were ruined in a moment. We were worried about our children and relatives there! Also, our police clearance certificates could expire. There was literally a month left until they expired. My wife and I again faced terrible difficulties! But everything worked out! The war did not last that long! Our children and relatives in Israel were not harmed. Everything ended well for us, and we are safely moving to our new country!

Ezra helped us with consultations and helped find the necessary documents for consular check. They provided us with financial assistance, which helped us get our money back for the police clearance certificates. For us, this is quite a large sum of money. They also organized delivery to Chisinau. They picked us up from our house, brought us to Vinnitsa. We rested there, and in the morning, we went to Moldova, and then to Israel.

It’s hard to leave, because we grew up here, big part of our life has passed here. But now it’s very difficult to live here, so we don’t regret the past!

My wife and I are very grateful for your support and help, for your friendly, kind attitude towards us, for your care and all the attention you have given us! Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts!
