“My name is Patrick, I was born and lived in São Paulo, SP – Brazil. My mother always cheered me up by telling me stories about Israel and how our people there always defended themselves. I grew up with this idea of ​​one day going there, studying and living there, even with the distorted news that always arrived here, showing a bad side of Israel.”

“I thought about going to study, work and form my family there and bring my mother later. When the October 2023 conflict occurred, I was challenged to defend Israel there on the battlefields, and every day I kept thinking: I have to go there. That’s when I decided to sign up for the global center. I started my process, sending documents every week that they required from me.”

“I was perplexed by so many documents that I never thought I knew. As I was considered the son of an Israeli, in addition to the Jewish Agency, the Israeli Consulate required all documentation, very expensive certificates, sworn translations, and to obtain my Brazilian and Israeli passport. It was such a struggle for me that I almost gave up.”

“When I shared my financial situation with the Jewish Agency, that I was unable to pay everything, they advised me to speak to Ezra International. I looked for their representative and was immediately supported. Only in this way was it possible to deliver all the documentation, with the translations, and all the requirements made! I thank Ezra for this help that I will never forget, for arriving like a miracle from Heaven, and I hope that they continue this mission of helping everyone in our community.
